I have two outdoor cats that wear these birdbesafe.com collars; and now one of my cohousing neighbors has put them on her two cats. These collars fit over breakaway collars - mine wear bells on that first collar and then we added one of these colorful collar. My cats have lost the collars occasionally and usually a neighbor will find it and return it to me. It doesn't happen often, but I keep an extra collar around to use just in case. I take them off the cats when they are indoors at night most of the time but they don't seem to mind them if I forget to do that. Here's the link to their website - you can use a breakaway collar that you have already - don't necessarily need to buy one of theirs which has no bell: http://www.birdsbesafe.com/ My cats have also used Cat Bibs as recommended by The Audubon Society. My cats don't particularly like them and have lost them too often to make them financially worthwhile for me. These bibs definitely need to come off at night. Here is the link to see/buy them: http://catgoods.com/ Carol from Oak Creek Commons in Paso Robles, CA. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year and currently having 10 straight days of fun events. See our web page: www.oakcreekcommons.org or look us up on Facebook.
