Lorne Mallin <lorne.mallin [at] gmail.com> is the author of the message below. It was posted by Fred, the Cohousing-L list manager <fholson [at] cohousing.org> due to a format problem. I shortened the subject line and added "http://" to make the URL clickable. -------------------- FORWARDED MESSAGE FOLLOWS -------------------- Hi, Greetings from Vancouver, BC, where we are under construction for the first cohousing community in the city - others exist in the suburbs - with occupancy expected in a year. To this point, our membership committee has focused on attracting new associate members and helping them through the membership process. We still have three units to sell, but we are examining how our role as a committee will change during the construction phase and when we are truly living together in our 31-unit community. Clearly we, along with the social committee, will be focused more on the care and nurturing of the members. One thing we've done is begin an email newsletter a few months ago. What advice can you offer us at this time of transition? Thank you, Lorne Mallin http://vancouvercohousing.ca
