We tried to do this and the cleaners objected. They like to clean and to clean
together. But half of them are also our cooks.

One way to resolve the what we want and what we do, is to measure.

How long are meals taking to clean up after now? Why?

Change something and see if it helps. Change something else, etc.

By focusing on the changes and the reasons why, people will pay attention and
the changes will stick.

That’s what I’ve learned from sociocracy and cybernetics. But we rarely focus
that clearly. Or we do it in such an overbearing way no one ever wants to focus
again. Life in the fast lane.
