After various experiments, Milagro has settled on the following: We have one common dinner each week, usually Sat night, cooked on a rota basis by a new team each week (3-4 members). The cooks are responsible for the kitchen cleanup, so they tend to clean up as they go. Diners often pitch in to help with this. All diners are encouraged to help clear tables, pre-rinse their plates after eating and feed them into the dishwashers. A hired cleaning lady comes every week and cleans floors and other surfaces. The Common House Committee members oversee all of this and encourage us to follow procedures. It seems to work! David Bygott Milagro Cohousing, Tucson
