Hi all, I'm a member of the Seniors in Cohousing Committee of CohoUS and we are seeking examples of informal or organized strategies, practices and such for addressing the following two topics. What has your community developed or are starting to discuss? a) how you are addressing work expectations of older members, whether in multi-generational and senior-focused communities. b) examples of how communities offer mutual support when a member (of any age) needs extra help (after surgery/accident, birth of a child or for an aging member). Do you have formal systems in place to help with meals, errands, etc. or informal ways you support each other? Please send me a description or invite me to follow up individually with you or another member of your community. Eventually we will share the ideas collected through workshops and other programs we are planning to offer. Thanks! Dyan Wiley Founding member, Cherry Hill Cohousing (formerly Pioneer Valley) Chair, Seniors in Cohousing Committee, CohoUS
