Elizabeth: At my place we add up the estimated costs of common expenses and 
divide that by 16 which is the number of homes. Each household owns an 
undivided one sixteenth share of the common areas. The overall effect is the 
small units subsidize the large units. Reserve fund capital replacement 
allocations are based on square footage, including finished basements.
