Fred, what program are the archives saved in? Are they still in Mailman or do 
you transfer them to some other program?

How would they be exported? They would make a great foundation for a book.

We use Groups.io <http://groups.io/> and I have often just download all the 
messages on a list to find the discussion of a topic like "drainage on the 
green” and open them in a text file. I just read through all of them and delete 
the ones that are clearly irrelevant. A search doesn’t work well because people 
use so many different words.
