The Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act is also the author/sponsor of the Uniform Condominium Act which was written in 1977 and has been enacted in 14 states. The official verson posted online is dated 1980 although the file is dated 2021. Do you know what the overlap, difference, etc., between the two is? Lawyers have said that the area of law that covers condominiums, coops, etc., is “Common Interest Law”. I can’t just now read both of these to see the similarities and differences are but I thought I would ask what you know.
