Cohousing-L Mailing List: Co-Ownership of a cohousing unit?

Hello,
One approach to making cohousing more affordable to potential members is
the possibility of a unit being co-owned by two people.  It has been
raised a few times in discussions here at Cohousing of Greater Baltimore.

I would like to hear from communities where there are situations where two
individuals, not otherwise in a close personal relationship, have elected
to purchase a unit together so that they can live in cohousing.

I would like to follow up to learn how that has worked out.
