*Another factor that ramps up the cost of coho living.* So many cohos I
have talked to have had to fight a costly legal battle against
Anti-development forces, though cities are very positive to have "middle
housing" increased.. We at River Song had our home prices escalate (maybe
up 50%, maybe more) through having to fight and win three legal
challenges. Our neighbors were somewhat hoodwinked by a 'professional' who
demands money from developers to keep him away from stopping
their developments. (We hear he received over $1M from one developer).
RSC paid him nothing and he and the neighbors quit their challenges after
three losses in the courts. But, ... oh, the added cost to RSC
homeowners! I'm looking forward to hearing from coho veterans of legal
challenges about how to deal with this escalation of home prices.
