Or just pay the taxes! I mean, it's popular to suggest taxes are bad and I don't love all the places they go... but wouldn't it be fun to change the story. Taxes are about supporting the common good. Let's come out as pro-tax! Also 20% of our income would be a huge amount. I can't imagine how we'd come up with that many rentals. Although maybe it would bring down our HOA dues. (We had a huge discussion on whether professionals can rent our common house. And what to charge. But mostly we just don't. Groups that want to use the space have a member sponsor and don't pay for the usage.) -Liz (The Rev.
