Answer some or all of our questions. Casa Verde Commons, Colorado Springs, CO, (a community of 34 households with about 75 residents) needs to replace our sanitizer (part of the original kitchen installed 22 years ago),which no longer works reliably and our stove, purchased used five years ago, with gas burners and a convection oven (36 inch, commercial quality), which is not working reliably enough. We'd like to know what other cohousing communities use in their kitchens. Do you use a sanitizer? Commercial? If so, what brand and what's your experience with reliability and ease of use? When did you buy it, and how much did it cost? What about your stove? Do you use gas or electric or gas and electric? Did you purchase a commercial stove? What size? What brand? Cost? What has your experience been? Information about the size of your community and the scope of your meals program and how the appliances are used would be helpful. If answering all these questions is too time consuming, just answer the ones that you have information about. Thanks so much for your help. Ceil Malek Casa Verde Commons
