Thanks Fred for sharing this resource!

We appreciate your feedback as well. As many of you know, we (National
Cohousing Alliance) recently underwent a major website migration. The new
site has already helped streamline our resources, and has improved
functionality that will help us better serve our audiences. But we know
there are likely lingering glitches and errors as a result of this
migration.

Regarding the Directory itself - our web developers recently spent some
time retooling the search functionality and a couple of other issues that
users had noted. It sounds like we've still got a little work to do, so
thank you for sharing that with us. As we continue actively working to
improve the website, we encourage folks to reach out to us directly at
info [at] cohousingalliance.org with any feedback.

Thank you!

The Cohousing directory, now at
https://cohousingalliance.org/community/
is a very useful resource.

The index has 6 text columns:

Name
State
City
Age Type ( Multi-generational or Senior )
Move in Year
Status ( Established, Building or Forming)

In the heading each has two small triangles beside it facing up and
down to resort the list. For me clicking on them (with Firefox
browser) changes the color of a tringle but it does not change the sort.

Does it work for anyone else?

BTW it is not clear what order it is sorted in.

Below the heading, the columnwise search boxes which can be "anded"
work fine.

The data in the directory is maintained by each community
which is error prone. There is missing data and errors such as a few of
what appears to be the name of the person entering the data where the
name of the community was intended. I urge people to check their
communitiy's entry and try to get errors corrected.

There needs to be information on how to update entries.

My wife reports that using the directory on her smart phone had
problems (could not get below map) when she first tried it but got it
on a third try with Chrome broswser. Format is better when horizontal.
