Thought I'd forward what Mela Silver wrote me about what Southside is doing with just a little more than an acre. Several folks at Southside do this. We are also fortunate enough to have a local farmers market on Sunday just a few blocks away, and many of us shop there. I counted the other day: we have orange, lemon, lime, plum and plum-cot trees, kiwi, raspberry and tons of grape vines, and many dozens of strawberry plants here on our little acre and a quarter!
