There have some parents who have been sorely disappointed by cohousing
because they wanted, and thought they were creating, a great place for kids.
But few kids actually ever moved in, thus their disappointment.

I live in a community with 30 units and 30 kids and their energy really is
amazing. Sharingwood would be VERY different if we only had 4-5 kids. So
children are a huge part of community life, and both an attraction and
distraction for future members.
