Cohousing-L Mailing List: Disaster or emergency preparedness

Has your built community done any disaster preparedness, such as laying in 
of emergency food, water and supplies, providing yourselves with any level 
of classes or training, or any making any other formal preparations.  Do 
you keep a list of emergency contacts for all residents, and do you have an 
evacuation plan in the event of a fire., flood tornado or earthquake?

A member of my community (who is not a subscriber to this listserv) 
requested that I post this and also that I ask whether your community would 
like to do more in this area. If so, Harriet may be able to offer some 
guidance to you, based on the research and planning she has done for our 
community. Please reply to me off-list (as well as on list if you think 
your response would be helpful to others.)
