Just a note of clarification- calenders using goyim dating (and that doesn't 
mean taking a shiksa to lunch) can be confusing regarding the start of Jewish 
holidays.  One would think that calender makers would know this stuff, but 
quite often they don't.  Unless your calender specifically states that a 
particular Jewish holiday starts on sunset on that date, it could mean the 
holiday 
starts either that night or the night before.  This time, you happen to be 
right- 
Yom Kippur starts at sunset on Sunday, so there shouldn't be any conflict 
with the weekend event.
