I am going to be moving from Sonora Cohousing in Tucson to the Chicago area in a few weeks and I've been thinking about what I would like to do to acknowledge this occasion. One thought I've had is to plan a time when various people tell parts of the history of the community up until the present. Very few people were here from the beginning and therefore don't know much about when the community began. Generally new people don't know much about the history before they moved in. I like the idea of people telling parts of our history as they see it and hearing others tell other parts. We moved in in 2000 and I think people first started talking about this in about 1993 or 1994. If people in other communities have done this, would you be willing to tell me how you structured it? I'm looking for ideas. Thanks, Becky Schaller
