Thanks for answering my question. I agree, in a child-centered community, everyone needs to be mindful of children's needs for stability. Which is one reason, among many, why I'm poly -- rather than involved in the swinging scene, or simply dating around. Relationships are very central to my life, and I'd prefer to live around people who respect and support (not just tolerate) my relationship choices as much as they would for, say, their neighbor's monogamous hetero marriage. - Amy Gahran
