An unofficial position that two members of N street Cohousing have formulated. Stuart Robinson THE COHOUSING PARADIGM RULE 1) There are Rules. RULE 2) The reason why there are Rules is not because we can or cannot enforce them; it is because we all agree or have formed a consensus to them. RULE 3) Consensus is the power that binds; we do not tell people what to do, we tell ourselves what to do. RULE 4) We agree to live by a different normative paradigm; unlike others who do things because someone else tells them what they cannot do. RULE 5) We live together with the faith that we will act according to our words. Stuart Robinson and Rebecca Hammann.
