I believe some cohousing communities divide up their dues into two
categories.
One category being "typical" HOA dues including insurance,
maintenance, reserves, other associated physical infrastructure costs,
etc.
The second category possibly included child care, workshops/trainings,
parties, garden, etc. The second category are costs more linked to
cohousing & community.
I am wondering why the cohousing communities that divide the dues do
so. It seems to me that it is all part of the cohousing community you
live in, so what are the reasons for this? Thanks.
