This is not the typical type of message on this forum.

This is an educational and Inspirational message and ALSO a HIGH RETURN,
FAST-TURN AROUND, LOW RISK INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY (I know that sounds too
good, but hear it out)!

Here goes:

An opportunity has presented itself in Charlotte, where I and a great group
have been working to get Cohousing started.   While we have been taking the
basic steps to spread the word about what we* thought* would be the first
cohousing community in Charlotte, we have met and connected with Great
things *already *going on in the city.

There are at least 2 other '*cohousing (like)*' communities that I am now
aware of that are also diligently working on also getting off the ground.
Yes, groups of people that have hopes and dreams in alignment with
Cohousing but were simply *not calling it that *(*until we came to town*).
Let's be very *honest*, this term is still very much within the 'confines'
of *White Middle Class* types of places and people.  That's changing.  And
Needs to Charge.  Deep and Meaningful Community is needed in all places and
with all people.  This is one such example.

I am writing all this right now to let you know you have the opportunity to
help get one of them off the ground right now!

One such group is just *$25K* shy of entering the *Construction phase*
and *securing
the whole projec*t!!!   Literally.  Yes, that's IT.  After 10 long years of
holding on to a DREAM, this pilot project can get off the ground and be a
reality. They already have the needed 75%+ of the plots filled, with about
25 families already signed up, with mortgage pre-apporvals and READY to
make the move!   And they have done it all *WITHOUT* taking any '*DEVELOPER
$'* that would dictate for them how the community would look, function, or
anything AND without almost any Future Resident $ either.  Because, let's
be honest again, the population they are quite intentionally drawing does
not have the $ to invest ahead of time.

This will be FUTURE-RESIDENT DRIVEN, DESIGNED, AND  it is in at this point
comprised of almost entirely NON-WHITE people from diverse backgrounds,
nationalities, cultures and income levels.  It is going to be build in a
predominantly Black part of town which has been sourly neglected.  They
have an amazing piece of land adjacent to protected country land that is
forested and wild and provides a natural buffer and 'retreat' setting for
the community.  It will be certainly a Retreat in many ways for the
resident that so badly need such a place and it will also act as a model
that could be replicated!!!

This project has been in the works for over 10 years now with the fire and
drive from one main person that kept this dream alive this whole time, Ted
White, the Burning Soul!  He has been excited to see he is not along in
this dream for a Community driven and run neighborhood which Embodies the
notion that we ARE each other's KEEPERS.  A place were people of separate
families proactively work together, decide together, live together, each
with their individual homes and lives to empower, learn, and enjoy life
together.

                         Is this isn't COHOUSING, I don't know what is.

The details of the project, financing etc can be discussed in great detail
with anyone is so interested in learning more.  Right now, please know that
has already raised about 99% of the funds needed to get done with this
phase of fund raising and on to the FUN and IMPORTANT part of Community
Building and Being a Living Example!

What's in it for you and why am I writing all this here?   As you know,
taking developer money can come with the high price of sacrificing your
Dream and the true need for a Community-DRIVEN Model which draws us to
Cohousing in the first place.  This group holds this same dream very close
and is willing to pay a higher return for investment money that comes in
without the 'strings attached' from people who UNDERSTAND THIS MODEL.

This is such a group. So, again this is a combination of education,
inspiration and also a call for anyone who has the means to invest any
portion of the needed amount, for less than a year, with a *HIGH rate of
return (because its worth it in exchange in order to keep the DREAM whole!)*,
