I adapted this (around 12 years ago) from something I saw posted on
Cohousing-L which tries to express a similar sentiment -- trying to answer
"who are you" for the website:

http://gocoho.org/members/

We are about 60 adults and 30 younger folks.

We are artists, musicians, professionals, educators, all students of different
things.

We are toddlers, infants, kids, young adults, adults, mature adults, an entire
village.

We are many social workers and many, if fewer, tech folks.

We are individuals, sharing, employed, self-employed, unemployed, retired,
active, engaged but all community-minded.

We are a couple of registered nurses and a few family practice doctors.

Some of us like cooking, others cleaning, still others clearing snow, but all
of us like eating!

We are experienced co-op'ers, neighbors, participants and cohousers. We are
still learning how to live with and build our community!
