We (Rosewind, also in Port Townsend) are not an official senior community but many of us are over 65. Not all of our members are vaccinated, some because of age and a few by choice. For the last year we have continued to use the foyer of our common house (mail pickup etc) and one of its bathrooms, with strict safety protocols. At our latest meeting we agreed to open the remainder of our common house only to fully vaccinated residents in groups of up to 15, with masking and distancing optional. Snacks and beverages, but no cooked meals or potlucks yet. During gatherings, we will open windows or doors to create cross-ventilation. At the end of a gathering, we will disinfect bathrooms. At our May meeting we will try to resolve policies for unvaccinated residents, and guests (vaccinated or not) at common house gatherings.
