While we celebrate lots at Capitol Hill Urban Cohousing, the ones that have
been occurring this season are:

Post-Thanksgiving leftover potluck (our only potluck of the year): everyone
bring leftovers to share and we usually play board games.

Dios de Los Muertos (Day of Dead Celebration)- acknowledging and celebrating
those who have passed in our lives…celebrating with music, stories, and food.

Halloween - costume parade and trick or treating in Bldg.

Pumpkin carving the week or two before Halloween.

Winter Solstice - lighting wish papers

Tamalada - tamale making for Christmas dinners.

Holiday Cookie exchange.

Kimjang - annual Korean kimchee making (did it first time this year…will become
an annual thing). (Early to late November, but also can occur in summertime).
