We have a lawyer who lives here and has provided minor work pro bono so we don’t normally have a line item for legal expenses bur we are planning to update our CC&R’s and have budgeted for hiring a lawyer for that specific task as a one time thing. We regularly budget for Administrative expenses which mostly goes for stuff like copying, stamps, CPA fees etc. but could include legal expenses if we needed them. We also have a contingency item in our budget which is for unexpected costs that might come up.Bonnie FergussonSwans Market CohousingOakland, CA Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPad On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, 4:36 AM, James Glickman <james.glickman [at] gmail.com> wrote: Hi all. I am on a Finance/Legal committee at VHC in Northampton, and we are wondering how much you budget - if anything - in anticipation of annual legal expenses for your community. If it’s zero, that is still useful for us to know.
