Here at Cornerstone we have a dog that has two households.  Originally 
owned by one of the households.  The second household has two kids, and 
the kids love playing with /walking the dog.  I have no idea how things 
work financially, but Indigo (Indy) can certainly be found at either 
household at any given moment.  I think she does spend the night at her 
primary/original home.  I can put you in touch with the "owners" if you 
want, but one is currently out of the country.
