It is nearly here... more than 50 events all around the country (and
beyond), people showing off their cohousing neighborhoods or their dreams
for community, either in person or virtually.

You can still add your event to the list, have it show up on the map.

It doesn't have to be a formal tour, it could be a performance, a
discussion, a meal, a workshop, a movie, you name it! Check out some of the
offerings.

My home community is organizing a 30th anniversary brunch (one of many
smaller celebrations rather than one big one) and one of our homes is being
featured on an upcoming Green Home tour, we'll be listing that too.

I notice that this year, many groups are doing both an in-person gathering
and a virtual one, to connect with both neighbors near at hand and
prospective members from afar.

And it's OK if it is not this weekend, we're including stuff that takes
place later, too. Or even video tours that are up on your website or
YouTube.

Developing groups, the more members you can get to see diffferent
communities as part of this, the better prepared they will be to
efficiently converge on your community vision, informed by the lived
reality, thousands of years of collective experience from long-established
cohousers.

Perhaps you can partner with an established group nearby to get folks to
see it and get over the images in their heads, to see the reality of how it
can work and what it really feels like.

To see what's there and add your own, just go to:

and be sure to come back as more are being added daily. What are you
looking forward to seeing?
