I thoroughly enjoyed Rebecca Dawn Kaplan's reply to trees
for freeway drivers. There always seems an attitude that
cars (one passenger per) are almost a given. They are catered
to and subsidized beyond any rational standard. The

other solutions are considered. Put jobs where people live
by developing full towns, not suburbs.
