I second Joani's wish for a profiles list. From time to time, I've copied info from a posting into my FileMaker Pro database, but it's very sketch -- just trying to get contact people for various groups. I don't have time to do the work, but I can provide some computer consulting to whoever can do the work. The simplest, least structured way would be to simply copy a paragraph such as the one Joani sent about herself into a word processing document. People could use the "find" or "search" feature to search for key words in the document. But, if people wanted more of a database that would serve more purposes, the data would need to be structured, not just typed in a paragraph so that a macro program (such as QuickKeys on the Mac) could be used to build the fields of a database. A blank form would be sent that looks like this (several more fields including a "notes field): first name: last name: Address1: Address2: City: State: Zip: Cohousing status: Cohousing membership: So, that's my contribution. Hope somebody runs with it. MikeM
