Heh, because the majority of us already own them along with the 
fact that most of us can't afford to pay for a new one.

This might be possible IF there was no such thing as set backs, 
and required yard space. Here I am at a disadvantage. Must follow 
the rules you know.

However many of the other ideas I will present to the others in the

Hmm, in this area straw bale IS proven. The organization that is 
assisting us has already built a straw bale home (and there are 
plenty of others around) which says a lot if you look at it from the
viewpoint that they are a mainstream kind of organization (or were 
till we came along).  

The standard way a straw bale home is done (in this area anyway) is 
you volunteer to help in other straw bale projects, and in return 
those that you help come to help you.
