Additional info re: Somerville MA co-op -- housemate(s), sublet,

Greetings, again! I posted a housemate-notice for Teal Co-op (a.k.a. our
house) on Monday, and thought i'd clarify a couple of things.

(a) Our fine list administrator Fred Olson attached this note to the top of
my posting:
        > HOUSE [at] BLOOM.HARVARD.EDU is the author of the message
        > (Address/phone # in text: house [at] ossian.harvard.edu(617)628-8089)
        > and is not a subscriber. Message seemed appropriate so
        > it was posted by the COHOUSING-L sysop (Fred).
..and while that's a perfectly reasonable thing to do, i thought i'd
mention that i *am* a subscriber to the cohousing list (and a would-be
cohouser of fairly long standing). I posted from our house account so that
in case anyone used REPLY the message would go to the appropriate place
rather than to my own account -- i'm not always the one to handle inquiries.
Thanks also, Fred, for including the state in the revised Subject: header
so that the folks who don't live in (and aren't considering moving to) the
Boston area can ignore it. I'm sorry i forgot to do that!

(b) I forgot to mention that in addition to the long-term housemate/member
position at Teal (and possibly two of those, as another member is
considering shortening a long-distance relationship), we have a room
available for sublet from late June (this coming weekend, in fact) through
early August.

(c) In case anyone recalls my earlier postings about trying to expand into
the house next door as a cohoesque (yes, i was the one who apparently coined
that rather well-received term) community, we did not succeed in that
effort and it was recently purchased by some other folks. They seem nice,
and are going to rent out the larger, upstairs apartment. That's the place
to which i referred at the tail end of our housemate notice (the "If this
sounds nice but you are a group..." part). Just to re-weave a thread in our
electronic fabric...

Give an e-holler if you're interested! (but please email to
house [at] bloom.harvard.edu rather than maren [at] bloom.harvard.edu)

-- Maren
maren [at] ossian.harvard.edu = maren [at] bloom.harvard.edu, or maren
[at] mit.edu
or, for housemate-related stuff, house [at] bloom.harvard.edu
