A quick poll before coho-L leaves the air: In your cohousing groups what percentage (gross estimates ok) are: 1. Empty nesters 2. Singles no kids 3. Single parents I'm wondering if it's a unique-to-Boulder phenomena that quite a few 1's and 2's show up in cohousing and not too many 3's. A not-too-brilliant guess is that both time and money are more often available to 1's & 2's but not to 3's. I know some single parents (and double parents) who are waiting to get involved in coho until their nests are empty. What if each coho group were to bring in a couple single-parent families who could not otherwise afford it -- say, as renting (or not) household members of some of the families who are buying in? When coho-L is is resuscitated, maybe somebody could do a more thorough poll - retirees, ethnicities, college teachers, basketweavers, whatever. Mike M
