Greyrock Commons has a few out-of-town members and I'm not sure
that we've found a good solution either. Minutes of the business
meetings (1-2 times/month) are sent to all members, so they get those,
and we are currently dealing with many issues by the use of surveys so
they can get involved that way. One member was in town over the summer
and was heavily involved then. I'm in email contact with another. Last
winterspring we produced a couple of issues of a newsletter, and an
out-of-town member helped a lot with that (copy was emailed, she
edited/DTPed it, and then got a master back to us).
It's difficult, working at a distance. If only everyone
was online!
