Mac Thomson MAC [at] HAPPYVALLEY.COM is the author of the message below but due to a listserv problem it was posted by the COHOUSING-L sysop (Fred). **************** FORWARDED MESSAGE FOLLOWS ********************* Our core group has quite a few out of town members who want to be as involved as possible from far away, but we haven't yet figured out exactly how to do that. The ideas that we're currently utilizing are: Regular (1 or 2 per month) update letters to keep members informed about what's happening on the project. We also periodically include member surveys with the letters asking for input on various development issues. Holding periodic (once every 4 to 6 months) big gatherings that might be worth someone making the trip for. Do any of you out there have a similar situation, and if so, what are the ways that you use to keep out of towners involved with the group during development?
