This is the number one issue for me in groups. I distrust unwritten rules.
Many people value them, as if having covert rules is a higher value than
overt rules. I feel as if I'm missing the gene that allows people to feel
comfortable living within invisible, iron boundaries.

Part of this comes from having moved 36 times before I was 12 and many, many
times after that.
