Our experience at
Sharingwood was that when we built our play structure, which is centrally
located, it was a kid magnet. The resident kids would all play there, thus
initiating the meetings of the kid visitors. We now have 30 kids, and the play
structure is still a kid magnet.
So if your goal is
families with school aged children, be sure to include in your plans a play
structure that is part of your community. Build it, and they will
come.
