Attracting families with children

Our experience at Sharingwood was that when we built our play structure, which is centrally located, it was a kid magnet. The resident kids would all play there, thus initiating the meetings of the kid visitors. We now have 30 kids, and the play structure is still a kid magnet.

So if your goal is families with school aged children, be sure to include in your plans a play structure that is part of your community. Build it, and they will come.
