I agree with Grace that the long post which ended
with something like:  "I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm 
lecturing, but..."  - DID sound like lecturing.  And 
since the poster knew it, they shouldn't have sent it.

People might like/agree with someone's views, or not.
Regardless, we should do our best to be curteous
towards each other.
