So now we're going to get into a contest about whose off-list opinions are
more important?

C'mon, I'm not telling anyone to stop posting. I just wish it were relevant.
It hardly means I control anything. Off-list email is very useful. People
can discuss things that the whole list doesn't want to hear. I don't buy the
"poor me, no-one wants to listen to my opinion" line. It's manipulative. I
refuse to feel guilty because some people can't take constructive criticism.

And FYI, I thought you were very clear in your posts. It was frustrating for
me that so many people misunderstood you, especially since you went to such
great pains to explain. I just think that after while, it's pointless to
continue. Some will always ignore others in order that they get their own
points across. In spite of what Sharon thinks, email is a very flawed form
of communication.

(I would reply to the whole list, but I said I wouldn't.)

And now, I promise not to bother you or anyone else off-list anymore,
either. Time to practice what I preach!

Liz
