Lot for sale in Solterra Cohousing, North Carolina

SOLTERRA  is a lot development cohousing community, located on the outskirts
of Durham, and adjacent to Chapel Hill. Situated on the corner of Erwin and
Randolph Roads it is a prime example of the three most important attributes
of a real estate development - location, location, location.

24 homes are currently complete and occupied, one under construction, and
several slated to begin shortly.

SOLTERRA provides the opportunity too often lost in modern life to live in
a community where sharing is a way of life, and where the enjoyment of a
pleasant living environment extends to natural pathways, gardens and
recreation areas.  The new modern Common House will serve as the center of
communities activities. The Common House was designed to capture the
ambiance of the historic farm house which was once located on that
site. Common House meals will include vegetarian and macrobiotic dishes,
as well as traditional meals.  The Common House is almost complete and
will be finished for Christmas.

o A new public elementary school is diagonally across the road.
High School aged children will attend the noted Jordan High School.

o One boundary of SOLTERRA adjoins forested property owned by Duke
  University.

o A swim and racquet club with open membership is across the road.

o Duke University with its world-renowned medical center is just 3
miles away.  In addition to degree programs, the university offers
learning in retirement opportunities, lectures, concerts and an
  18-hole golf course.

o The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is just a very short
  drive away.

o This area offers an abundance of entertainment, museums and restaurants.

o A newly planned bicycle path will pass within a mile and will extend for
23 miles from Jordan Lake Recreation area in the south, to the Eno River
  State Park in the north.

o Two interstate Highways (I-40 and I-85) are within a few miles.
