Your message reminds me of the old Phil Ochs song "Love Me,
I'm a Liberal."  I call what he was singing about and what I
think you're referring to being a "pseudo-liberal."

However, I doubt that you're saying that the only
non-discriminatory people are ones who have no standards for
what's acceptable public behavior and what isn't.  I think
it's reasonable for us to want everyone in our community to
agree to adhere to some standards, as long as the same
standards apply to everyone, no matter what their sexual
orientation (or race, gender, religion, etc.).  A problem
comes when, for example, someone who doesn't approve of anyone
kissing in public objects to someone of a different sexual
orientation kissing in public.  It's easy to interpret that as
discrimination when, in fact, it's really a general standard
for everyone.  (And, by the way, that was just an example;
it's okay with me for anyone to kiss in public.)
