Wow! $600 a year - such a deal. Here at Two Acre wood, we are a homeowners
Assoc and so regulated by the State. They require certain things to be
covered like reserves to repair roofs and other wear and tear. Also all the
common expenses are paid - site maintenance, energy and water bills, etc.
Also fire insurance for all buildings since we have attached units.
We pay from $150 to $225 per MONTH for our dues. We also have been able to
use some of this money to upgrade our Common house - like window coverings
and new ovens etc. And each committee has an operating budget financed from
the dues.
