What are the policies on seeing-eye dogs in the common house at other
cohousing communities? We have had an interesting question come up as to
what we would do if a blind member joined the group and needed to have a
service dog. (I hear there are service PONIES now too!) We have already
passed a pet policy that allows pets in private units but forbids them in
the common areas. Have any other groups run into the problem of an owner
needing a seeing-eye dog to get around inside the community and what have
you done about it?
