Something interesting in the realm of "what I would do differently . . ." I was one of the first units built, so people were able to come and look at my place, then go home and figure out changes to make their units more efficient, etc. In other words, they "fixed" some small design things and added some features I could not add because I couldn't see it ahead of time. As a result, I have some "empty" unusable space, a dark corner that needs an overhead "spot," and a rectangular glass block window where a different shape would have been wonderfully easy to do. When I see these in other, later homes, I feel some regret (just a twinge). They learned from what didn't work as well in my house. And I would have added more phone jacks (so I could move my computer desk) and added a couple more ceiling fan boxes, so I could easily add on later.
