For people like me, with an adolescent child with a disability, cohousing offers the opportunity of some shared support for inclusive community living for my son. But what of the future? What of his possibilities for 'independent living" in the sense of him being able to live with other young people perhaps like himself with some needs for personal care (dressing, bathing and meal preperation and physical safety). Are there any examples of supported houses for people with disaiblities living within cohousing?
