What do you mean the prices are "above market"?  (By definition,
"market" is the price that someone is willing to pay...) Do you
mean that co-housing houses tend to sell for above their
appraised values?  If so, that won't matter to the neighbors.
They don't care about the value of *our* houses, they care
about the value of *their* houses.  if our houses sell for
less than theirs (their big McMansions on their two acres lots)
that could (theoretically) exert downward pressure on the value
of their McMansions.
