There was a whole session on this at the conference last week, and
examples from Cotati and other places. Check in with Ann Zabaldo to order
a copy -- as an attendee, she should have the green order form. Others,
stay tuned, we're finalizing ordering info for Coho/US members and the
public, should have a list posted soon.

You might also want to talk with Josh Simon at EBALDC, www.ebaldc.org --
he was project manager or the nonprofit developer of Swan's Market, where
cohousing was just one element of an extremely mixed-use project,
incorporating retail, restaurant, affordable rentals, offfice, a museum,
art galleries, live-work, and historic preservation. With good management
you can co-exist reasonably well... we've got several restaurants
downstairs and run into issues mainly when the fish merchant puts out the
trash under our windows and it doesn't get collected for a day, lately a
rare occasion.
