Although i'm sure that will be frustrating at times i think it will also be incredibly exciting and valuable in the long run for everyone involved. I was in a very racially diverse graduate school program (although everyone was basically from the same economic background) and those two years did so much for me -- a white person who grew up in largely white neighborhoods. I think even when we live in a cities that are very diverse we can go a lifetime without really knowing what each other are like. Living in community gives you that opportunity. I would love to read about the inner workings of such a community.
