HI all - I've an opportunity to be in Minneapolis for part of two days and one night in mid-September (15th and 16th) and am hoping there might be a cohousing community there that is open to an overnight guest. A friend of mine who grew up near Lake Calhoun has introduced me to the city a bit and I'm very excited about this chance to stay an extra day (I'm attending a Hazelden meeting in Center City earlier that week). Since I've never been there I want to have a chance to get a feel for the city and its energy. While I could stay in a hotel or a B&B and sightsee on my own, I'm more of a traveler than a tourist -- and that obviously (to me) means connecting with cohousers, eco-villagers and community-oriented folks. I'll be coming on the light rail from the airport on Friday the 15th and will need to return on Saturday the 16th to come back home to Northern California -- everything in between is up for grabs including a place to stay on Friday night and great people to meet. Anyone open to a low-maintenance guest? Michael Anne Conley macats22 [at] aol.com ________________________________________________________________________ Check out AOL.com today.
