Dear residents and friends of Cohousing,

After 10 happy years at Takoma Village Cohousing, I am leaving to  
return to my roots on the West Coast and be closer to family members.

I am selling my beautiful 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse, unit 303 at  
Takoma Village.  It has all the amenities, washer dryer, new carpet  
and floors, a gas fireplace, and windows all around - making for a  
light filled and airy space.  It is approximately 1200 square feet,  
with a shared porch and private balcony.

Takoma Village is a friendly, vibrant and active community of 44  
residences and 90 some residents.  We are racially and culturally  
diverse and range in age from 8 months to 80+years. This is cohousing  
at it's best!   Our Common House includes a large dining room kitchen,  
2 kids playrooms, an office with computer and printer, a workshop /art  
studio space, 2 guest rooms, a living room with new large screen TV, a  
workout room and 2 guest rooms.   The whole facility is wired for high  
speed internet and wi fi.(takomavillage.org)

I am asking $399,000 but will negotiate the price.     I will also  
consider long term lease or lease with option to buy.

I would like to tell you more about my townhouse,  and Takoma Village  
and the walkable surrounding community.   We are 2 blocks from the Red  
Line Metro, and across the street from 2 bus lines. Old Town Takoma  
pPark, with shops, banks, restaurants, and a food co op is 3 blocks away
